According to Google, this was the most most requested facility of current Google Voice users and Google is giving it out to them. Google Voice invites will be gradually rolled out to users. If you have a Google Voice account, expect to get an “Invite a friend” link to appear on the left hand side of your Google Voice inbox.

Each Google Voice user will have 3 invites to give out. Eventually, Google promises to give out more. But in the meantime, you might want to identify any of your friends or family members that will most likely be using Google Voice. Or if you don’t have a Google Voice account yet, you may get an invite for yourself  here.
