Looking for that basic desktop functionality to insert images in the the body of your Gmail email instead of attaching them? Gmail Labs is now running a new opt in setting which lets users insert images into their Gmails.
Inserting Images “Allows you to insert images into a message body. You can upload and insert image files in your computer, or insert images by URLs.”
Along with the Inserting Images option in Gmail Labs, I also like the YouTube Previews which “Shows a video preview whenever you receive a YouTube link in an email.“, Gmail tasks and Gmail Offline which “Makes Gmail go where the Internet doesn’t. Access your inbox through your browser and use Gmail’s familiar features when you’re offline.”

That’s cool! My favs till now are Goggles, Forgot Attachment Reminder [I keep doing this all the time] and the undo sent mail.
Though I am yet to check out most of the lab features.
Gmail is getting a lot more cooler these days.
