Doodle 4 Google : Logo Contest for School Students

Google has launched another Doodle 4 Google competition, which invites children from grades Kindergarten through 12th grade to doodle around with the Google logo, and create their own Google design based around the theme “What I Wish for the World.”

Teachers and schools can register for the competition, which has open registration until March 17th. If parents and students want to get involved, Google encourages them to contact their teachers to get registered with the program.

School outreach has been a constant goal of the search engines and is excellent public relations to build brand loyalty and further cement Google’s brand into the education and learning environment.

Here is a video highlighting last year’s Doodle 4 Google Contest :

Any good articles on the linking value of social websites? Any chance Google will ignore those sites from rankings?
