News Search Engine Rocket Info Changes Ownership
We can only hope that the gang in Ontario continues developing what many people (including me) think is a darn good publicly available good news search tool.
Their desktop search app is also very useful. Rocket also plays in the enterprise search space. From the announcement, Zeppelin Energy Inc., a diversified US company with interests in software and other sectors, has acquired Rocket Technologies Inc., who under their “Rocketinfo” trademark and moniker, is a leading international developer of current news search, content and publishing solutions.
Under the terms of the transaction, Rocketinfo will become a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of Zeppelin. Zeppelin will be changing their name to Rocketinfo Inc. to reflect their focus upon this major transaction.”
