On Monday I had the priveldge of being a guest on the WebmasterRadio.fm SEO 101 show (not to be confused with the BlogTalkRadio SEO 101 show) with their hosts Ross Dunn and Eric Lander to talk basic link building techniques and developing a linking strategy.

- Submitting your site to directories such as Best of the Web and Yahoo.
- Submitting your quality blog to blog directories.
- The importance of using press releases for real newsworthy purposes and not just for links.
- How social media is more of a communications tool which leads to links, as opposed to a linking method.
