Google Preps Up the new design of iGoogle

Any day now, we might as well expect some new changes in the iGoogle design. If you would recall, sometime in April, Google has announced a new version of iGoogle. Google has also picked several user-developer to test out the new iGoogle design.

If you’re using iGoogle you would soon have cluster of tabs on the left hand side of the iGoogle. You can expand these tabs to reveal the list of gadgets and status information.

In addition, the new iGoogle will have a chat faeature,  list of updates from your contacts, and  stories shared by your contacts in using iGoole teams.

iGoogle also added a list of updates from your contacts similar to Facebook’s newsfeed: you can see stories shared by your contacts in Google Reader, recent photos uploaded to Picasa Web Albums, Google Talk status messages, shared iGoogle themes and gadgets.
