Not a childish question… however your writing skills certainly appear to be. Congrats Faisal… you are single-handedly ruining the english language. You aren’t texting your buddies. This is a blog. In a hundred years we will all be speaking in txteeze and we have people like you to thank.

Anyways to answer your “qus” *sigh* … they allow that much space for each user but I’d hazzard a guess at less than 20% actually use all their gmail space. That’s how they can get away with offering that much space. I’ve had my gmail account for 6 or 7 years now and i’m only using 300mb. I don’t use it as a gmail drive (that’s what flash drives are for… do you really trust Google with your info?).
And now you know… oh and please for the future write like you speak english.

i have a qus for u. I hope u knw the ans.
my qus is how gmail gives lots of space for their client. like almost 8GB for all user . how they store such big disk space. :D applogy ,may be a childish qus.

I use Gmail exclusively for personal email & no longer use the email address I had thru my ISP (I have it delivered to Gmail) & I love it. I love being able to upload documents to Google documents (though it messes with the formatting, unfortunately)

I took a look at rediff as one of the earlier posts suggested. In their terms of use they specifically say that they will use the info you provide for tarteted email (a/k/a spam). Eeks. I canceled out of it before completing the registration.

Another document service, which will soon is Zoho.com.

Mediamax is now offering 25 GB of storage.
Still can’t find an easy way to upload my data even though they have a software for that matter. Kinda difficult to use, but the idea is simple amazing.

I have been using gmail since it opened, and I have used up all of my storage. I have repeated contacted gmail and even would pay for extra space, BUT GMAIL NEVER RESPONDS!

Everyone knows the gmail account I have used for years, and it difficult to open another account to try and get others to email you at it. I have tons of files I have stored that is great when I travel. I travel a lot.

People keep sending to the old email address. Gmail said you will never have to delete emails. They are wrong.

I hope they increase the storage.

I suggest if you plan to use gmail, have a back-up
in case you go over your storage, because you will never get them to answer any of your emails or contact you to even discuss helping you get more space.

Once you start using gmail, you will eventually have to delete so be prepared.

I’ve been using Gmail for over 2 years now and i find it very good. I get alot of spam each day and just about ten of them ends up in my inbox.

My favorite function is that I can connect many email addresses. I currently use three different.

“You are currently using 134 MB (4%) of your 2830 MB.” Ands that’s well over 3000 mails and a lot of attachments.
