Every year, Google pushes out major and minor updates to its algorithm in its attempt to weed out spam in various forms from content, links, and ads. Google’s ongoing fight against spammy links that impact the quality of search results has seen plenty of websites lose their traffic and rankings.

For the last few years, E2M has released an annual infographic that recaps the major updates released by Google over the course of the year. Since 2014 is over and done with, it’s time to list the updates that were released in the year gone by. This infographic presents a summarized list of updates to help you understand the changes and determine what they mean for your company.

    I never know that google remove the authorization..and when was the pirate algo started by google ? how does it work ? I even heard that between 5-10 dec 2014 google updated the penguin which affects the many website.

    I don’t think all algorithms are performing tough action in SEO . but all are much powerful for the website that don’t have any content copyrights and security features like SSL, HTTPs enables eCommerce websites.

    Among all of the 2014 Algorithms Penguin 3.0 is the major algorithm which affects the websites badly. Some SEO Experts even posts update like drunken penguin.
