If you’ve noticed over the past week, there’s been a new face on Search Engine Journal covering the search engine news. I’m happy to announce that we’ve taken on Julie Kent as our Search Engine News Anchor at Search Engine Journal to cover the day to day happenings in search outside of the SEO and paid search field.
Julie will be reporting primarily on news happening among the top search engines in the industry along with the occasional post on social media, SEO or research tips.
Ms. Kent’s background specializes in search & research, as she is a practicing Research Librarian, a mentor at V7N forums, and has written many articles and tutorials on using Google and other search engines for library research.
Welcome Julie!

Thanks for the intro Loren. :) It’s been fun so far, and I look forward to covering search news here.

And to think you apparently don’t even need an MLS to be called a “practicing Research Librarian!”
