ValueClick Adding Video Advertising

November 16th, 2006 by Loren Baker, Editor | No Comments

ValueClick will be integrating video ads into their current display advertising solutions for publishers. The following email was sent out yesterday evening:

As a valued publisher partner, we wanted you to be first to know that in the coming weeks we will formally announce an open beta of our new in-stream video product.

Our video solutions will be fully integrated into our existing platform, making it easy for you to earn revenue from video content. Seamlessly include video, rich media and standard graphical ads into your existing pre-roll and post-roll inventory.

Benefits:

* High revenue with premium CPM rates
* Quality creative and effective campaigns
* Compatible with most popular video formats
* Easy to implement

We will notify you with more details when the code for in-stream video becomes available. Until then, inquire about our video solutions.

Thank you,

Chad Peplinski
VP, Media Development
ValueClick Media

Given Google’s increased direction in online video advertising (and offline) it will be interesting to see which other advertising networks introduce video ads, and how the CPM and payouts compare with Google.
