TechCrunch is reporting that Insider Pages, the consumer review and search site for local businesses, is being acquired by a major public company, but the company isnot commenting on who.
TechCrunch says that “Our understanding is that the acquisition price is more than the total capital raised by the company, but not by much.”
So, which public company do you think has acquired Insider Pages?
IAC already has AskCity and CitySearch. I don’t think Yahoo needs Insider Pages. My money is on Verizon or a newspaper company like the Tribune. Or perhaps even Google as they are lacking in the user generated content department and could really use their own reviews in Google Local and Google Maps.
Your thoughts?

Don’t forget Local.com they recently acquired SoUno.com, another online yellow pages.
It is not likely the Tribune, as they are going through a restructuring. It is likely a major IYP.
