Firefox Google Toolbar Out Of Beta, Adds Google Suggest

Google has taken its Firefox Toolbar out of beta testing and has added Google Suggest which recommends relevant search queries as you type terms in the search box. For example, type in wool and Google may suggest terms like wooly mammoth or wool sweater, trying to guess what you’re going to type.

From the Google Blog : After two months in beta we are officially releasing our Firefox.

We also heard from plenty of savvy Firefox users who wanted to be able to reorganize their Toolbar with Firefox’s Customize feature. So in the latest version of the Toolbar, you can go to the View > Toolbars > Customize menu to rearrange icons to your heart’s content. You can even move the search box around!

If you just thawed out from a million year freeze (which explains searching for mammoth meat) and have not downloaded Firefox’s browser yet, you can do so at Mozilla’s Get Firefox site. Or you can really impress all of your friends and still search on Google by downloading Opera (for free).
