Yesterday, Yahoo Search Marketing announced various updates to their sponsored search program which attempt to fill the desired of their advertisers. The new updates are as follows:
Custom Reports and Scheduling
Reports can be customized based on date range, filter criteria and data columns and can be emailed to advertisers at intervals such as daily, weekly or monthly, while sent in XML, TSV or CSV for Excel formats.
Lateral Navigation
Advertisers can now move laterally from one detail page to another without having to backtrack to a summary page using “Previous” and “Next” buttons.
Today on the Calendar
In the calendar widget that appears in the upper right of the page under Campaigns and Reports tabs, “Today” can now be selected from the “Custom Date Range” drop-down menu.
Barry Schwartz noticed that some bugs in the Yahoo Search Marketing reporting system may have been caused by this update..

Man, what a day for search. It was hard enough catching up on the news since I’ve been gone, man, without all these new developments. :)
Did anyone else prominent write about this today besides you?
