New Gmail Labs Feature Tells You When You Got the Wrong Bob

I don’t know if you still remember that feature in Gmail Labs  which allows you to retract email you accidentally sent provided you do it within 9 or 10 seconds. Gmail Labs has a new feature similar to that called “Got the Wrong Bob?”

“Got the wrong Bob?” saves you from the embarrassment caused by accidentally including a contact from a group email that you are about to send. What the feature does is to consider the groups of people you email most often and identifies whether a particular contact should be included in that email, that is of course before you send the email. This feature works only whens sending an email to two or more people at the same time.

In addition to this feature, another related Gmail Labs Feature, “Suggest more recipients” was changed to “Don’t forget Bob” since it works similar to the “Got the wrong Bob?” feature.

You can activate “Got the wrong Bob?” under the Labs Settings of your Gmail account.
