Has Google Made Acquired Plannr? All Signs Point To…Maybe

Could another acquisition have been added to the long list already amassed by Google? The search giant is said to have purchased Plannr, a mobile planning startup that allows for the messaging of friends with plans. With the social planning tool, friends are instantly updated whenever plans have changed by receiving text messages.

Rumors have been denied as of the weekend, according to Tech Crunch, but we all know that doesn’t mean much of anything. This acquisition could be another step in the socialization of Google, not only be adding this tool, but by the addition of the two founders – Jason Prado and Ben Eidelson – whom have a good grasp of social networking.
