Google Sync Now Supports Gmail with Push

Google just announced that Gmail is now supported by its Google Sync service. And it even supports automatic email push for iPhone, iPod Touch and Windows Mobile devices. If you will recall,  Google started supporting Calendar and Contacts synchronization earlier this year.  

Although this is just a small features which was in fact already available for the Blackberry, what’s making many users feel excited about, particularly iPhone and iPod Touch users is the fact the Google Sync  automatically pushes new Gmail messages without the requiring users to ping the Gmail servers to update their phone’s mail app inbox. Google Sync also lets users to selective sync between Google Calendar, Contacts or Gmail.
