Google’s mapping software gets a new feature with Street Views, a new feature of Google Maps which lets users take a closer look at the different streets of the U.S. with a 360 degree level imagery. Street Views is currently available for San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Las Vegas, Denver and Miami.
I know this is a very useful apps for U.S. based users, but for international users like me, how useful could this feature be? Nothing much in terms of usefulness, but hey for a guy like me who haven’t been into the U.S., this is closer to actually being there, cruising and walking the sidestreets of the different U.S. cities.
Ok, I’m just too excited, oh well yeah, I think the new Google Maps apps is pretty cool. Or better yet, call me a Google fanatic.
But in the meantime, check out what the Google Maps Street Views is all about. And also watch out for the mapplets tool, a feature that will let third party developers create mini applications that can be integrated into the Google Maps.
