Gmail Now Lets You View User Access to Your Email Account

July 8th, 2008 by Arnold Zafra | No Comments

For those who login to their Gmail account from multiple terminals, the new Gmail feature addressing the issue on user privacy has just been rolled out. Basically this feature tells you whether your Gmail is currently in use.  If you check out this new feature, you can see how many people are using your Gmail account. And if its more than one and you are checking your Gmail account at your PC at home or in the offic. The new feature displays the most recent IP address that login to your Gmail account.

This new feature is pretty much valuable for Gmail users since they can monitor who frequently access their Gmail account or whether they have forgotten to log out.

Interestingly despite the fact that this is a new Gmail feature it was only now that Google decided to give it a go. Desperate times call for desperate action, eh?
