I have shared a few tools to combine Google and Twitter search. Now it is quite natural that some people would want to add Twitter search to Bing:
1. Greasemonkey script #1 inserts relevant Twitter discussions to the right of the general Bing results. It also acts as an ad blocker:

2. Greasemonkey script #2 adds relevant Tweets on top Bing search results (between paid and organic listings):

3. Mixxr is a UK tool that compares Google, Yahoo, Bing and Twitter search results side by side:

Update: one more recently launched great tool to combine Google, Twitter, Bing, Yahoo and EBay results: Search3

Good post Ann…Interesting.
That’s an interesting way to get additional info on your searches that’s for sure.
Pretty cool stuff. I think the mixxr one seems the neatest of the bunch. Going to try it out now. =)
Great post, Ann.
I like the Mixxr most too. I’m still really wondering if this whole bing thing is going to catch on, especially when you do side by side comparisons with Google. Bing is pretty easily spammed by keyword domains!
I would like to see some one make a clone of Twiogle.com but it searches bing instead of google
You might want to check out Surf Canyon (www.SurfCanyon.com). After installation you can add Twitter, OneRiot, Amazon and eBay results to Bing by going to my.SurfCanyon.com and checking the appropriate box.
Ann, WebMynd also searches Twitter and had a Bing search function that worked for me up to a couple of days ago but not now. But it also searches Delicious, Reddit and Digg, all from within the Google or Yahoo search page. It’s a firefox plugin: http://www.webmynd.com/html/
I think I’ll try the Mixxr…looks like more “bang” for the time spent. Good post…thanks for the info.
Great post Ann thanx for sharing…!!
