Say Goodbye to Bing Cashback feature

If you’ve been using Bing cashback feature for discounts on your online shopping, we’ve got some bad news for you – Bing cashback will stop from operating by July 30, 2010. So, that means you’ve got barely two months to enjoy using the feature and reap whatever benefits that you can from it.

According to Bing, while the cashback feature may have helped some advertisers reach customers with compelling offers as well as provided a new type of shopping experience, after trying for a couple of years, the support was not enough for Bing to continue offering the service. In other words, it didn’t become as widespread as the Bing folks have hope it to become.

So there, you’ve got until July 30 to use Bing Cashback feature. After that, you’ve got one year to redeem all the points you’ve earned through your cashback account. Microsoft will also provide customer support for one more year, to ensure a smooth transition.
