With both Google and Yahoo offering Olympics-related search services, it’s but natural that Microsoft will come with its own offering. For their part, Microsoft is featuring some ways by which sports fan can find the most up-to-date 2008 Summer Olympics coverage, using of course the Live Search.

olympics_answer1.jpgIn partnership with NBCOlympics, Live Search is bringing the latest medal tallies through a simple search using “Olympic medals” where an-up-to-the-minute medal tally by country will be displayed.

Likewise, using the terms “Medals” plus “Name of country” would yield the latest number of medals collected by that country, including the country’s current medal ranking.
