Social Media Demographics [Infographic]

OnlineMBA.com just sent us a really interesting infographic called “A Case Study in Social Media Demographics”. I know you all see a lot of IGs, but this one has some different information to consider such as:

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Education
  • Household Income

There is data for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Linkedin, Reddit and digg. So take a peak and keep the info in mind when you are creating your social media strategies for various demographics.

Speak your mind!

  1. As a web marketing person I really enjoy stats. I really enjoy the way the information is presented above. I was showing this graphic to my staff and it made it so much easier to explain. Very nice.

    Thanks for the contribution

  2. I came up with some realizations after seeing this infographic…

    1. Facebook is most hated social network yet it is still on top and the largest.
    2. Pinterest is (one of) the fastest growing social media site considering the fact that it is still in an invite phase.
    3. Google may not topple Facebook, but it seems that they are getting it now how to become “social” with G+.

    Thanks for sharing this, Melissa.
