Flickr Offers Photo Printing via Mail or Target Stores

Flickr is now offering the ability to print Flickr images as photos which can be delivered via mail or picked up at Target’s one hour printing booths. To incentivize users to order Flickr Fotos, Flickr is offering the first 10 4×6″ prints for free. The program is now available in the US only, but it looks like Flickr will expand the service.

More from the Flickr blog : Over the last year, we’ve been asked 15,381 times, “How about printing? When are we going to get printing!?” Today we are happy to answer: “Today!” For now it is U.S. only (we know! we’re working hard on rolling it out everywhere!).

Whether you live in the U.S. or not, you should set your printing preference now —you might have friends and family in the U.S. who you want to print your photos— and wherever you live, we can let you know when printing is available for you.

Sounds like a great way to keep the parents happy, since mom hasn’t found a way yet to keep Flickr images in her wallet to show to her bingo friends.
