Gary Illyes is a webmaster trends analyst dedicated to creating a better search experience for users by helping webmasters create amazing websites. When not crunching data to find ways to improve web search, Gary is contributing to the Webmaster Central Blog and helps users debug their websites in the Google Webmaster Forums.
Prior joining Google in 2011, Gary was teaching online journalism in Romania and abroad. He was a technical consultant for several high profile media outlets, and he spent his free time on online forums helping webmasters troubleshoot web- and news-search related issues. He has studied IT at the University of Phoenix and holds an associate's degree in journalism from the Ady Endre College of Journalism in Romania.

In previous work, I led strategy teams for Office Depot, PNC, Comcast, Sanofi Aventis, DigiKey, DSW, Amex, and Penske. I launched one of the first RLSA programs in the country where we connected paid search to a CRM database and allowed a company to personalize the search ads based on individual behavior of the customer. I helped Kimberly Clark with implementing DMP. I managed over $100M in digital media.

Amy Vernon

Known in some circles as the Bacon Queen, Amy rose to prominence on the Internet initially through her community activities on the old Digg.com, where she was the top female submitter of all time (and #15 among all submitters). Champion of what she calls #SMEtiquette (social media etiquette), Amy is known for her ability to keep online conversations civil.

Previously, Jordan was the Head of SEO and Content Development at eBay. During his time at eBay, Jordan focused on utilizing eBay content to improve user experience and natural search traffic. In this role, he lead development of millions of content improvements for the organization. Along with advancing eBay's content, Jordan produced numerous well-covered viral stories using eBay data.

Prior to eBay, he worked at various e-commerce and tech start-ups. Jordan has grown and managed different Internet marketing teams and has a strong background in SEO and social media.

John Curtis

John Curtis is the SEO Manager for Walgreens. He develops and implements enterprise search optimization strategy across Walgreens' Daily Living, Photo and Pharmacy business units for ecommerce, local and omnichannel interests. Prior to joining Walgreens, John worked to develop and lead SEO, social and reputation service products for L2TMedia.

Allison Fabella

Allison Fabella has been practicing search engine optimization for over a decade and is currently Global Director of SEO at CareerBuilder.
