This is perhaps the most disturbing and strangest news we’ve reported in some time.
The offices of PayPal in San Jose, California were reportedly bombed last evening when an explosive device was detonated outside of a building exit.
No one was hurt, except for a plate-glass window. But this is still a very scary situation.
CBS Channel 5 in San Jose reports:
The fire department responded to the building at 2211 North 1st St. at 7:31 pm after being contacted by the building’s private alarm company that some windows were broken and several explosions may have occurred inside, according to Guerrero.
Authorities confirmed only one explosion Tuesday night and said damage was limited to a shattered window and its frame, Guerrero said.
Firefighters ordered the evacuation of the building and members of the bomb squad and the hazardous materials team investigated the incident, according to Guerrero.

Looks like the froze the wrong Nut Bags account. Thank god no one was hurt.
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
I think it was the “thugs” over at Google Checkout.
My initial reaction was “good they deserve it…” here’s why…
If you’ve had any problems with PayPaly like I – and many people – have, you’ll know what I’m talking about… simply Google the word “paypal” and in 5th position is http://www.paypalsucks.com...
Why is there a forum with 100s of members and postings bad mouthing Paypal? Simply put, Paypal has the monopoly and is acting a like it by NOT caring about their customers.
I hope to God everyone is okay at Paypal and NO more bombs explode… I also hope Paypal starts loving their customers some more because if their Monopoly won’t last forever.
Warmly,
JP Richards

OK, JP Richards you’ve just made it in to the top-10 suspects list :-D
shit!
Paypal gets bombed and all the major news websites seem to ignore this. This is a huge deal. How often do companies get bombed like this? I had to dig to find this story buried in the news.
CT,
Agreed. When I reported this shortly after it happened on ThreadWatch 2 days ago (http://www.threadwatch.org/node/9730)I tried to find any news on it online and I could not – and still can barely find any (except for my local news). You would think that something like this would have made CNN breaking news… I guess only Google changing the color of its toilet tissue makes tech news on major news outlets these days.
Thats too scary? isnt Bush doing anything for this?
One more reason to find someone to blame!!!
PayPal deserve everything they get. This compant is breaking the law here in Europe on a daily basis in conjunction with its parent, Ebay.
Paypal and Ebay are the biggest distributors of counterfeit products on the entire web. They should be prosecuted under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2001 and the Money Laundering Act 2000.
Paypal has many accounts frozen for no just reason, and they are collecting daily interest on this money, and not returning it to the account holders when they finaly release the funds.
Ebay on the other hand is scamming people in conjunction with its Powerseller community. Many of its so called Powersellers are trading counterfeit goods whils Ebay pat them on the back and endorse the sellers. I have sent 15 reports of such behaviour to Ebay and they ignore them, why? MONEY,MONEY,MONEY from the powersellers is to good to disturbe thats why.
Check out this seller : scootuk, and you will see exactly what I mean.
KeithMcGlew if u cant beat them join them
