My new years resolution is to find a partner to help me finish the SEO site. I originally tried to create the site for tracking ideas for myself personally- but then found that it’s a highly search set of words. I don’t have the time to work on it though. New years resolution: Find a partner to help develop it.

I think peoples new year resolutions changed quickly towards the end of the year. It is always good to plan for something going into a new year. Even if it is just to smile more.

Those are great resolutions both business and personal. Congrats on IMBroadcast by the way, a very good idea and the mini conferences, Scary SEO and best wishes for IM Spring Break. Having a kid will utterly change your life so good luck with that. (If you need any advice let me know, lol). Best of all though Loren is your desire to work with depressed kids and I salute you for that.

I usually don’t make any resolutions, as I never keep them but will rethink that after reading this. Best wishes to you and Janna and all those at SEJ!

Well Mine -

1. Finish My Postgraduate Research ASAP. (My area is Semantic Web).

2. Waste more n more Web space — writing a lot of killer content and kick-ass tutorials.

3. Work with more international clients and expand my local authority – internationally.

4. Slowly convert all my affiliate sites into businesses.

5. Start working on the 2 big web project that I have on hand and launch it by mid of 2009.

6. Meet new clients, business partners and make a tons of new friends!

My career has been spent working for the three largest companies in their respective industries. That experience has taught me that there is little room in corporate America for initiative, ingenuity, proactivity and an entrepreneurial spirit.

I don’t really believe in New Year’s resolutions, as I don’t believe you should wait for a specific calendar date to set goals or change the path you’re on. That said, among my goals for 2009 is to step away from corporate life as much as possible.
