Know about both Mozilla Google Toolbar and the PageRank extension. :)

And let me clarify something here... I do not reflect the views of the developers of the tool. Whatever they say on their website is their own opinion. My interest lie with the software which worked very well... And they do offer the flexibility of adding n number of search engines (not sure of googlebar has it) and comes with custom buttons for various blog tools. I liked having access to bloglines :)

I don't see the point. The Googlebar extension for Firefox does everything the IE one does (including the highlighting feature) except pop-up blocking, because, as noted, Firefox does that by default. I've been using it since Firefox was Pheonix 0.5, and it works as well as anything out there.

It sounds like a fine toolbar, but the author speaks as though there is no alternative but the built-in Firefox search box. That's the beauty of Firefox though ... everyone has the same base, and builds the browser THEY want from that.

Oh yeah, there's a Google PageRank extension available too. Puts a little PR box down in the right corner of the status bar. Very nice, unobtrusive extension if you need to see PR!!
