Hitwise September Search Market Share : Ask.com Gains 1%

October 17th, 2007 by Loren Baker, Editor | 1 Comment

Hitwise released their September Search Engine Market Share reports and it seems that Ask.com has picked up in usage over the past month, after it dipped a bit in August. In addition, Google, Yahoo and MSN seem to be holding their own, with no significant spikes in share ownership, and just a little attrition going to Ask.com; which gained almost one percentage point.

I guess all those TV commercials are paying off. I have been seeing a lot of them and they look good. None of that funky BS we saw over in the UK. Actual walk troughs of their search results and why they are supposedly better than Google’s.
