Have you heard about Google Web Elements? Apparently, some users have been using these for months now. But Google has just officially announced it through the Inside AdSense Blog. Google is saying that these web elements could help you improve your site’s AdSense revenue as these provide you with live widgets that displays dynamic content. What is Google Web Elements? Well, actually I just mentioned it – these are actually widgets containing various Google products which you can embed on your websites as an add-on value on what you have to offer on your websites.
To add these web elements to your websites you just need to copy and paste some snippet of codes.
Google Web Elements include custom search engine, calendar, YouTube news content, Friend Connect conversation, News, Maps, Spreadsheets and Presentations.
What’s so good about the Google Web Elements is that you can still modify the parameters of the code based on how you would like it to appear on your website. Google Web Elements is powered by the Google API.

Yes, Google Web Elements improve SERP and attendance of my pages increases.
But … they can not convince visitors to click on ads.
Hi there,
Thanks for the post, Arnold. I’m an Adsense publisher and didn’t know about Web Elements. Question, though:
How exactly does one make money from them?
For instance, you mentioned that a possible element is a YouTube stream of relevant content. Do publishers get paid when users click through to YouTube?
Thanks,
Chris Mechanic
It is true…
I didn’t see how to improve adsense clicks? Basically Google just reposted some old content. Open Social coding has allowed for embedding widgets like the one’s on igoogle for a long time now
Arnold..i didn’t know about such a great web elements offered by google. I have 100 websites related to lottery results for diff. states and i am running adsense on all 100 sites but i am not getting good revenue from adsense. I am planning to find affiliate partners or advertisers to put their ads on my site. Now i am gonna implement Google Web Elements.
Hope will get some revenue from google web elements
Thanks for the good post Arnold.
Guyz i would like to know about Google Penalties (Types) and causes. I have tried to find out with our best friend Google but i am not getting right information on that. I am sorry for posting my question here and its out of topic but i think i will get correct answers here. Arnold if you or any other readers provide us some guidance on google penalties then we will be grateful to you.
I’m a big fan of the Conversation Element — especially when in “Global Conversations” mode. It’s a pretty clever twist on things. In addition to allowing you to host conversations on your site (using a unified login via Google/AIM/Yahoo/etc.), you can have that conversation shared amongst other websites who’ve selected the same conversation name. It’s like tapping into a shared communications channel with a CB or FRC radio.
Chris: if the Web Element you choose is something people may return to your site to view, perhaps you can subsequently increase your AdSense CTR with the added traffic?

Isn’t this more of a site improvement rather a direct driver of click throughs or other revenue?
How does really google web element improve SERPs?
Also, don’t know how can it improve adsense revenue.
Appropriate Google Web Elements on the appropriate pages properly tuned /relevant with your content/ will improve SERP.
This is really very much true thanks a lot for sharing this post with us.Really a nice post.
Interesting Post! Of course, I have also put one of the google web element (Google maps) in my blog
This works? This is the real question here.
I don’t know which element to use. The element such as Youtube news and News are pretty useless as it makes OUR reader to visit external links and I don’t see any real value here.
And concerning about adsense, how can this be possible? I don’t find the suitable element (Spreadsheet.. calendar are useless for blogs) to be embedded on my blog. Lookin forward for positive answer.
Is that really work? just wondering why the fluctuation of my revenue so dramatically, up and down
Very interesting article, but I do not understand the relevance with adsense!
P.S Thanks for the idea!
