Yahoo Search Marketing Search Light Award Event in New York

Yahoo! Search Marketing will be holding the Yahoo! Summit Series Event, “Search: Thinking Outside the Funnel” with executives from top brands such as American Express, Starwood Hotels, and Verizon in addition to leading agencies including iCrossing, Ogilvy, and Saactchi & Saatchi.

The event, taking place at the 26+ Helen Mills Theater on February 22 in New York, will celebrate creative uses of search in the media mix and present the first ever Search Light Award.

The keynote speaker David Verklin, CEO of Carat Americas and Chairman of Asia Pacific, will kick off the event with his thoughts about the various creative ways search can be applied to marketing.

The keynote will be followed by a review of the creative campaigns nominated for the award and each will be presented by the finalists (AvenueA/Razorfish, Agency.com, GM Planworks, and RPA).

A panel of industry experts will provide commentary on the merits of these campaigns. Immediately following this critique, the audience will vote on their favorite campaign to determine the winner of the first ever Yahoo! Search Light Award. This award will be given out in recognition of the agency that has shown unparalleled creativity and innovation in search.

If you will be in the New York area and would like to attend this Yahoo Search Marketing Event, please leave your name and web site address (or email if you feel comfortable giving it out) in the comment box below and a Yahoo Publicist may just look you up and send you an invite!
