Mega BizFest Wilmington, DE : Internet Marketing Speaking Engagement
I’ll be speaking on a panel at Wilmington Delaware’s Mega BizFest on June 10th, representing the field of Internet Marketing and Search on behalf of WebAdvantage.net. This is one of my first speaking panel engagements and I’m really looking forward to it – seeing it as a potential stepping stone into sitting on more panels and advising different businesses on local search, paid search advertising in Google, Yahoo and MSN, and search engine optimization.
If you’re in the Wilmington, Delaware area from June 9th until the 11th, you should stop by this conference. If you’re stopping by the conference on June 10th, please make it a point to attend the panel I’m speaking on. Apparently the other members of the panel will be representing Franchising, Procurement and Business Diversification. Expanding an existing marketing budget into search is a part of diversification of a businesses’ marketing model, and in most cases a smart one. I’m not sure what kind of businesses are attending, but if the discussion revolves around lead generating marketing models and salesforce oriented businesses, I do have some great search marketing case studies from the home improvement and financial sectors.
Worth noting, the Wilmington Mega BizFest also runs in conjunction with the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival in Wilmington – another free event in the evenings of June 3rd to the 12th. Performing artists include Diane Schuur, The Funky Meters, The Headhunters (featuring Bill Summers of Los Hombres Calientes), Irvin Mayfield (also pf Los Hombres) and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra along with Poncho Sanchez. Some of the groups are also performing at the Mega BizFest. New Orleans Trumpets, Latin Jazz, and Search Engine Marketing – now that’s what I call a Mega BizFest!
