Jingle and MerchantCircle Team for 411 Service
Jingle will distribute MerchantCircle “plus” ($99 per mo) level advertisers over its 1800-Free-411 DA service. This is good for Jingle because it representes more ad coverage. For MerchantCircle, which isn’t a consumer destination, it’s qualified distribution.
One of the challenges in this context is taking what are essentially text-based ads and translating them into what amounts to radio commercials. (Ben: who’s doing the creative for those advertisers?)

Through Jingle Networks, MerchantCircle will offer members of its Plus level service opportunities to advertise on the 1-800-FREE411 media channel. Merchants’ audio ads will be played on the 1-800-FREE411 service whenever a local customer requests services or listings for companies offering similar services.
