Ever since Google added enhanced campaigns to Google Adwords, they’ve been improving their processes. Fortunately for us, they save time and make our job a little bit easier!
Google just came out with a new update, the Upgrade Center. Have you seen it yet? When you’re on Google Adwords in the Campaign area, you’ll see Upgrade Center in your left sidebar. It should be rolled out to all accounts within the next couple of weeks.
What will this Upgrade Center do for us?
First, it will allow you to upgrade existing campaigns to enhanced campaigns It’s especially useful if you manage a lot of campaigns. A few simple clicks is all it takes.
Second, it will allow you to merge and upgrade accounts. This is what it will look like:
Adwords will give you merge suggestions. It will do this if you have campaigns that have similar keywords and location targeting. You should know that Adwords will automatically combine budgets and ad groups.
What does this new Upgrade Center not do?
You won’t be able to merge audience targeting information, image ads, and display specific elements.
