Great Blog from Google Employee Niniane Wang
Andy Beal has expanded his obsession of Google Software Engineer Niniane Wang and her blog from Andy’s safe laidback offices in North Carolina all the way to Sin Silicon and Gawker Media’s ValleyWag.
Andy has made the reading of Software Engineer Niniane Wang’s personal blog part of his daily routine, which he says is “honest, funny, edgey and very addictive reading.”
Niniane’s Blogger hosted confessions show not only a committment to Google and the work atmosphere of the Valley (“I worked today from 10am to 3am. And I loved it! It was great!”), and some entertaining advertures in her private life (look at Andy’s blog for those honestly steamy posts).
Here’s a bit about typical Google work days for Niniane:
“I’m working 12 hours a day. Occasionally 15. I only work for a few hours on weekends though.
Last Wednesday I worked for almost 24 hours straight (with a short nap from 4:30am to 7:30am in the massage room at work) in order to win a bet. It was like Caltech. It was the happiest 24 hours I’ve ever spent at work.”
What a work ethic from this Google hottie. Sounds like when I used to work in my parents’ grocery store.
