Popular video search engine Blinkx seems to be on a roll. After signing a deal with meta search engine Ixquick last week, it now has closed a deal with Goal.com. The two web companies have agreed to work together with Blinkx powering the video search at Goal.com’s site.
Goal.com is the world’s top site where everything and anything about football can be found. It provides breaking news, live scores, match previews and latest club news through an interactive web site and community forums.
The term of the agreement includes states that blinkx will:
- give Golf.com access to its index of over 14 million hours of audio and video,
- bring its video search technology into Golf.com’s interactive website
- bring its video wall feature
- deliver relevant videos to accompany the thousand of text articles available to users of Golf.com
Golf.com is the largest community of soccer fans and aficionados with 16 language version that covers 210 countries. It’s everything and anything about football with breaking news, live scores, match previews and latest club news. While blinkx it’s among the top video search engine boosting of the smartest way searching new forms of online content.
