Maile Ohye: Developer Programs Tech Lead, Google

Since joining Google in 2005, Maile has worked closely with Google’s Search and Webmaster Tools teams as a Developer Programs Tech Lead. Her goal is to support and advocate on behalf of all site owners. A few of Maile’s projects include rel=”canonical” (co-author of the IETF RFC), and rel=”next” and rel=”prev” for paginated content. Maile often speaks publicly about SEO, including keynotes at SES Chicago and SMX Munich. She also co-authored Building Web Apps for Google TV (O’Reilly).

Prior to Google, Maile was a systems integrator specializing in content management systems for organizations including AT&T and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She earned a B.A. in Cognitive Science with a Computer Science emphasis from the University of California at Berkeley.

John Brown: Head of Publisher Policy Communications, Google

As head of Publisher Policy Communications at Google, John collaborates with leadership and functional heads across the company to articulate policy direction and strategy to publishers. He also serves as Google’s subject matter expert for the overall industry, providing publishers with feedback and guidance on important issues.

John has a history as an advertiser, publisher, builder of ad networks, and has managed data for over 90 Ad Networks. In each of these roles, he developed solutions which grew relationships, protected advertisers, and assisted publishers in developing solutions for smart, scalable growth.

Bill HuntGlobal Strategy Consultant, Black Azimuth Consulting

Bill is the President of Back Azimuth Consulting, which focuses on helping companies implement Global Digital Marketing Strategies and “Customer Journey Models” using keyword data to understand what consumers are looking for to better drive content.

Bill is one of the top thought leaders in Global Search Engine Marketing and is an internationally recognized Search Marketing speaker, having spoken at conferences in over 30 countries. John is Vice President of SEO at Condé Nast managing Search Optimization for top brands (Wired, Epicurious, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Vogue, etc). John has a 14 years experience managing SEO, Social Media, and Paid Search campaigns for top national brands and Fortune 500 companies.

Previously, John was the Executive Director of Search, Social Media. Shehata lead the SEO online strategies for Disney-ABC TV Group (ABC News, ABC, Oscars, and Disney Channels), and worked closely with many TV shows including GMA, Nightline, 20/20, World News, etc.

Keesa SchreaneSenior Manager Marketing, Thomson Reuters

Keesa has been enriching the customer experience for tech professionals, as well as offering CIOs, CTOs, and developers the tools they need to innovate and grow their businesses.

Keesa manages global content marketing for the Thomson Reuters core data platform business, which allows financial professionals to control information flow by connecting all of the different applications needed for trading, investment, risk management, and compliance. Additionally, she oversees marketing for the firm’s quantitative trading and historical market and economic data solutions including machine readable news, trading analytics, visualization, and analysis tools.

Larry Kim: Founder, WordStream

Larry is the founder of WordStream, a leading search marketing software and services provider based in Boston, which manages over a half a billion in annual ad spend across over thousands of customers. He regularly shares his advice and insight with over a million visitors a month on his WordStream Blog and is a columnist and top contributor for leading industry publications including Inc. Magazine, Search Engine Journal, and Social Media Today.

Larry has spoken at numerous industry events including INBOUND, SMX, Pubcon, ClickZ/SES, SearchLove, PPC Hero Conference, SEMPDX, MNSearch, SAScon, and Marketing Festival. Purna has over a decade of digital marketing experience, both in-house and agency. She lives, breathes, and dreams SEO, PPC, Voice Search, and content marketing.

Her devotion to all things digital marketing has seen her regularly write for various industry publications and speak at conferences across the globe.  An award-winning former journalist, Purna was the CEO of Purview Marketing prior to joining the Bing Ads team.

Amy Vernon: Director of Audience Engagement, Daily Dot

Amy is Director of Audience Engagement for the Daily Dot, known as “The hometown paper of the Internet.” She spent 20 years working for daily newspapers around the country and was a member of the Pulitzer Prize-winning staff of the Miami Herald for coverage of Hurricane Andrew. An inaugural inductee of the New Jersey Social Media Hall of Fame, Amy was named the 15th-most influential woman in tech on Twitter by Business Insider and Peer Index.

Known in some circles as the Bacon Queen, Amy rose to prominence on the internet initially through her community activities on the old Digg.com, where she was the top female submitter of all time (and #15 among all submitters). Champion of what she calls #SMEtiquette (social media etiquette), Amy is known for her ability to keep online conversations civil.

Glenn GabePresident, G-Squared Interactive

Glenn is a digital marketing veteran with over 20 years of experience. Over the last two decades, Glenn has helped a wide range of companies utilize new and emerging technologies to increase sales and profitability.
