In a media and technology world ruled by algorithms, Search Engine Journal “SEJ” provides the expert-led practical content, industry news and guidance needed for digital marketers to optimize for discoverability across search, social and commerce platforms.

We are a rapidly growing company; our revenue has increased 50-100% YoY for the last 4 years. We need a fearless, experienced, rockstar Editor-in-Chief to expand and lead our equally rockstar editorial and content teams to new heights. You’ll have 16 people on your team plus 1-2 open job listings.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the EiC is responsible for setting editorial strategy, building and managing the editorial team, and collaborating with leadership and partners on strategic initiatives and building audience growth that maps to business goals. Key attributes:
