My company collaborated with our friends at HubSpot to create the infographic below. We used data from the 2014 Science of Email Report to explain how consumers read and filter emails, and why they unsubscribe from email lists.
Every business has a unique market and target customer, so the data provided in the infographic should be used as a base. You will want to run your own tests and see what your particular market responds the best to, and while there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, this data is a great starting point.
