Quigo Serves Advertising for Automotive Partners
Quigo Technologies announced today that it signed agreements with several large automotive publishers to use AdSonar Exchange to place relevant text ads on their automotive web sites. AdSonar Exchange matches advertisers and publishers using contextual targeting technology in order to address the search relevancy issue. The new publishers boost the AdSonar Exchange network to include tens of millions of additional page views:

AutoWeek.com – online resource for automotive enthusiasts. AutoWeek.com attracts over 900,000 visitors and over 7,000,000 page views per month.
AutoTrader.com – automotive marketplace and consumer information web site. More than 8 million unique monthly visitors to its 2.5 million listings
Usedcars.com – marketplace for buying and selling cars on the Internet. The site currently receives over 6 million impressions (page views) with over 500,000 unique visitors monthly.
CarPrices.com – responsible for more than $2 million in new-car sales each day. Prospective buyers can build, compare, save, and retrieve multiple vehicles using Build-A-Car(tm), a new state-of-the-art configuration technology. Finally, they can buy a car through the company’s SMART(tm) inventory search or Quick Quote retailing system.
Using Quigo technology, AdSonar Exchange’s advertising platform classifies web sites by content topic as the first step to ensure the right ad will be placed on the most relevant web page.
“We’re thrilled to announce five separate automotive publishers added to the AdSonar Exchange today,” said Michael Yavonditte, CEO of Quigo Technologies. “The quick ramp-up of the automotive marketplace in AdSonar Exchange again shows that the market approves of our vertical approach to contextual advertising. These five Web sites – all premium sites in their own right – ensure that companies selling auto-related good and services now have a clear best choice in cost-per-click advertising – the AdSonar Auto Exchange.”
