Bing Ads has rolled out an update to its mobile app which introduces new payment-related features.
Advertisers can now add funds directly within the mobile app.
Users with a prepay account will receive alerts when their campaigns are paused due to limited funds.
From there, they can tap on the “Add Funds” button and make the necessary payment to get their campaigns up and running again.
Advertisers can also check their account balance at any time by navigating to the new billing page in the bottom tab of the app.
In order to take advantage of this feature, advertisers need to have existing payment methods set up on their account. Payment methods cannot be added within the app.
Adding payment methods to a Bing Ads account has to be done on the website. Payment methods added through the website can then be used within the app.
Other Bing Ads App Updates
In addition to the new payment features, Bing Ads has integrated multi-user access into the app. This will help advertisers manage accounts across customers more efficiently.
After tapping on the menu button at the top left of the screen, users can select a different customer from the drop-down list the appears under their username.
“With multi-user access, you can use one email address and password to access all of your Bing Ads customers, switch between customers with ease, and add customers at any time. You will no longer need to sign in and out within the app to complete these types of tasks.”
These updates are available now in the latest version of the Bing Ads app for iOS and Android.
