WordPress version 4.5 is now available, it is designed with editing improvements in mind which should help improve the content creation process. Several features of been included to streamline the little details that go into creating content. Here are some of the main highlights.
What’s New in WordPress Version 4.5
- In-line linking: With in-line linking you can link to other pages, or to your own pages, without having to go back to the editing interface. You can add a link right then and there by highlighting the text you want to use as the hyperlink.
- Formatting shortcuts: The formatting shortcuts that exist for items like lists and headings have been expanded to include more useful features. WordPress highlights horizontal lines as being one of the key new inclusions.
- Live responsive previews: Now, when customizing the sites, you can see how it looks on all screens including mobile tablet or desktop directly within the customizer.
- Custom logos: WordPress’ own themes can now support logos for your business or brand.
WordPress version 4.5 is now available to either download or update directly from your WordPress dashboard.
