FastClick Text Ads To Launch in May
Ok, Google takes over FastClick, Gorilla Nation, and Burst publishers with its announcement that Google AdSense will now offer a MEGA site targeting advertising netowrk with offers the option to advertise via impressions with a minimum $2 CPM (not sure if that is the Google Gross or the Net offered to publishers). Now, FastClick is about to offer a new Text Ad buying option for advertisers to buy featured text link advertising on FastClick’s network of sites. Woah, hold on. Which way are you networks going? Maybe there is enough text advertising to go around, just ask Pud at AdBrite.
Nick W covered this FastClick announcement a bit on ThreadWatch today and in some weird realignment of the stars, an email came into my Yahoo Mail box from FastClick (albeit their second mail announcement) that the program will be launching on May 2nd. Here’s the mailing:
