Google – Under the Hood [INFOGRAPHIC]

This infographic was created by Blog Search Engine, where you can promote your blog by getting it reviewed.

I think this infographic offers some fantastic data, in a visually appealing way, that SEOs can discuss with their clients. SEO is not easy, ranking is not easy and our job is not easy. I think if you look at the following information closely it shows that to be good at SEO you need to know, and understand, a lot about Google.

  1. Great infographic! 500 changes a year to the search algorithm it’s what keeps SEOers busy and with jobs =).

My favorite Google mobile app is the Google Sky Map.

  2. Really this is very true that only SEO is not sufficient , if we want to rank our site in the search engines then we must have proper knowledge about the Google and its techniques and schemes.

  3. Google is being run by Indians, managerially and technically. Even though Page and Schmidt are CEO and Executive Chairman of Big G, but still we can’t forget that it was Amit Singhal, an IIT Roorkey Graduate, who re-wrote the whole algorithm of Google Search Engine in 2000 which made Google the best in the industry. Then, Nikesh Arora of BHU-IT is the Chief Business Manager; Vic Goundotra is the man behind the whole Google Plus… and, many many more.

  4. Some of those numbers behind what Google does are truely staggering. Being able to filter through trillions of pages and return a result a unique query in less than a 1/4 of a second? – Then mixing real time data into results – that’s quite the feat!
Keeping up with these changes in technology is what makes the field so interesting.

  5. It all boggles the mind and the info graphic was terrific at conveying information that is difficult to wrap one’s one arround. Good job! (*next time – spell check!)

  6. It is a great idea. Infographic is perhaps the word that i’ve seen with most searches almost a billion a day is amazing. Great article giving awareness about the infographics. Keep it up (y)
    Warm Regards, :)
