Smash My iPod Video
Ever want to know what its like to smash an iPod? See its innards? Conduct a non-violent protest directly in front of Apple and the world wide web. A group of budding social scientists formed SmashMyiPod.com in an effort to gather $400 in donations to by their own iPod.
They then went to their local Apple store, discussed the iPod’s battery life and Apple Care warranty program in detail with the clerk, purchased the iPod, then smashed it.
We’re not condoning the smashing of electronics, or the smashing of anything, but thought this story was worth reviewing especially since a video is now available of the incident and Samsung has announced that they are soon coming out with their own iTunes competitor.
By the way, the folk behind this site also have conducted similar “social experiments” at SmashMyXBOX, SmashMyPS3, and SmashMyRevolution.
How about they just send me all their excess cash?
What a bunch of idiots. Guess they never grew up from smashing things when they were kids.

After participating in the recent ‘Smash My Plasma T.V.’ and ‘Smash My Yoga Instructor’ protests, Smash My iPod sounds like small potatoes to me.

I love this idea that I went to go do it myself.
I got my friends to give me money. In total it was 500 bucks, so we got an ipod classic and and a nano.
We went to the Victoria garden’s Apple store, asked the lady about ipods and all. After she gave us the info, we purchased them. 1 min. after we got it and looked at them, we smashed them and left like nothing was wrong.
HAHAHA the look on this lady’s face was priceless!!!! HAHA
