How Much Does StumbleUpon Rock?

Rand Fishkin must have mentioned StumbleUpon about gazillion times at SES San Jose as a ‘not to be overlooked’ part of a successful link-bait-2.0 web marketing strategy and I’ve noticed that whenever one of our stories get Dugg, Populared, or Reddited.. StumbleUpon referrals usually follow suit and bring in a nice amount of users.

But exactly how much does StumbleUpon rock? Apparently enough for Lee Odden to make the post on the Top Rank Online Marketing Blog entitled StumbleUpon Rocks:

My current, favorite way of finding new web sites and blogs is hands down, StumbleUpon. I had started using their service over a year ago, but after a few months it just didn’t resonate with me. In the past two weeks I noticed in our main company web site server logs that we were getting a LOT of referring traffic from stumbleupon.com so I decided to check it out again.

Excellent, I think I’ll be downloading it myself and giving it a try.

Do you use StumbleUpon? What do you think of it?

After more than 18 months it seems that StumbleUpon is one of the strongest tool for SEO marketing. Everyone who used it I’m sure they got a lots of referring traffic.
