Google’s online payment solution system, Google Checkout, has launched in the United Kingdom to compete with other online shopping systems such as their main competitor eBay’s Paypal.
* Until now Google Checkout has only been available in the US
* Google is not disclosing the timeline of further European expansion
* Google will be offering discounts to UK merchants and buyers in an attempt to grow the program
* Google AdWords UK will be serving the shopping cart icons

Don’t forget that Google is giving every buyer £10 off all orders over £30.
I’m looking forward to seeing Checkout in Germany.

I really wish this site would quit posting the same news that all the other sites are showing. I’m sick of coming here and having to skip over a ton of news I have already heard from major seo news sites. This site does have unique content that is good just show that.

If you’re interested in finding out more about Google Checkout in the UK, you’re invited to join a free online seminar (webinar) taking place on Monday at 2pm GMT.
The webinar, co-presented by ChannelAdvisor and Google, will cover the benefits of the payment option for online retailers, and will also include a Q&A session at the end, for you to ask Google your questions.

I’m late here! Aargh! I use Checkout for almost everything - it’s so easy.
I am a native Brit living in the US and have been planning on setting up my SEO shop in my home country but was waiting on G Checkout…..
Oops….
