New Google “Search This Site” Feature Coming

This from Yellow Pipe News via Cybernet; apparently Google is “testing a new search feature within its search results.” More from Yellow Pipe:

“Google is testing a new search feature within its search results. It’s an expandable content that can display more information about a site including an image and a short text based on the content of the site, Related links, and “Inside this site” links. There is also a search “Search this site” feature. The feature is apparently in testing phase as it appears only randomly.”

Wasn’t coming up for me at all but I’d love to hear from SEJ readers who are finding this; and hey, it’s a valid excuse to put off whatever else you’re doing right now because it could technically be classified as “search engine research.”
