Google PageRank & Sandbox: No Correlation

Google PageRank & Sandbox: No Correlation

A HighRanking thread busted a little myth that if you have PageRank, that means you are out of the Sandbox (or as they call it at HighRankings, Aging Delay). The thread is named Pr3 But Still Aging Delay? and the member asks…

Now, because I have a PR I have assumed I am out of the aging delay but then why would my site be terrible on the SERPS.

Jill Whalen quickly replies;

PR has nothing to do with the aging delay. You could be a PR9 and still be aging.

PR has no significant correlation (I haven’t done the math) with the Google Sandbox.

    I don’t think PR has any relation to sandboxing effect..one of my newly launched site got a PR of 3 but still sandboxed.
