After giving us a useful tool for monitoring unique site traffic, Google is treating AdWords members and other ad media planners with an equally useful Ad Planner tool.
The Google Ad Planner, is a research and media planning tool that bridges the gap between advertisers and publishers. If you’re an Adwords member you can use the Ad Planner to find out which sites you’re audience is more likely to visit. The Ad Planner can help you find demographics and related searches conducted by the intended audience of your ads. It can also give you aggregate statistics for the sites that you are targetting for your ad campaigns.
In addition, the Google Ad Planner, easily create media plans and export these to a .csv file which you can later on open using any spreadsheet applications when planning or buying your next ad campaigns.
The Google Ad Planner is available only to a limited number of agencies and advertisers. You can either wait till somebody sends you an invite or apply directly to Google.
