Google AdWords Running Click-to-Call Ads Again

We haven’t seen Click to Call running in Google AdWords for a long time, but then received an email today from Mark Bufalini of DailyCandy.com who tipped us off that Google AdWords is indeed running Google Click to Call again.

Notice the saved phone number, the 0 infront of the number (please don’t call me) and the advertiser phone number where the URL is usually printed.

Google first launched Click-to-Call in late 2005 to loads of fanfare from local Google AdWords advertisers such as contractors, lead generation companies and restaurants. Google then abandoned the project for Google AdWords Click-to-Call listings in Google Maps last July.

Are we seeing a rebirth of Google Click-to-Call?
